The location varies from year to year, and this year it will take place at Science Park. A symposium with an attractive program is offered, combined with the opportunity to be inspired by the work of various exhibitors. Prior to the A&M Day, an exhibition "Art and Mathematics" is often held. In recent years, topics have included: Islamic architecture, perspective, Pythagorean trees, Borromean rings, tessellations, sphere constructions, musica et ars, and spatial miter constructions.
This year, Ars et Mathesis will be held on Saturday, November 15 at the Science Park of the University of Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Korteweg-de Vries Institute. Click hereExternal link for the programme and hereExternal link for more information.
