About this student community: The Amsterdams Chemisch Dispuut (ACD) is the student association for Amsterdam students of the Bachelor's programme Scheikunde and the Master's programme Chemistry. The ACD was founded on 7 November 1945. Since then, the association has looked after students of chemistry and related fields at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). In the early years, the association's home was at Roeterseiland. In 2010 all natural sciences moved to Science Park, and the ACD moved along with them. Since 2016, both the Bachelor's programme Scheikunde and the Master's programme Chemistry are joint-degrees. This means that the degree programmes are taken at both the UvA and Vrije Universiteit (VU). In addition to the degree programmes being at both universities, the ACD is represented at both seats of learning, too. The ACD has over 500 members, including eleven Honorary Members and fifteen Members of Merit.

This event is part of the Campus Connect Week 2025 (CCW25).
