As of Monday 8 June, UvA students and staff will be able to use study places at the Science Park library location. From that day on, the reservation options for the reopened library locations will also be expanded.

The Library will make 48 study places available at the Science Park location. It is mandatory to reserve a study place in advance. Students who already want to use a study place coming Monday can reserve a spot the day before, on Sunday 7 June.

Expanding reservation options

From Monday 8 June, the booking options will also be expanded during the day. It is then possible to reserve a study place twice a week; also for a whole day. In addition, study places can be reserved three days in advance.

You can find more information about how to book a study place on the Library website. Here you will also find current information about the reopened library locations and the measures taken.

Reopening of the Library

The Library is in a phased reopening. A limited number of study places at the UB Singel have recently been made available to UvA students and staff. From 25 May they can also collect and return printed materials again.

The Library has had to take a number of measures to guarantee the safety of everyone in the library. Be prepared and read the information available on our website.
