Only if you have signed up during the course application period, you have a guarantee that you will be able to follow the course. Before the start of the semester there will be a reinstatement opportunity. This offers late students the opportunity to register for courses or to change workgroups. However, this possibility is no guarantee for placement.

The courses do their utmost to organize education for compulsory subjects from the curriculum for which there is no alternative. Elective courses can be full.

During late registration you can only register for courses where there is still room after the closing of the course application. This requires that students deregister in time for courses they are not going to take.

Late registration for the second semester 2020-2021 will be as follows:

Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology (BSc)

Students who wish to use the possibility of late registration and think they qualify to do so can contact their study adviser: studieadviseur-ca@uva.nl

Political Science (BSc)

Online late registration from 25 January (8:00 ) until 26 January (13.00): The courses where there are still spaces available will be drawn up in SIS. Make sure you meet the entry requirements of the courses for which you apply, otherwise you will still be deregistered.

Sociology (BSc)

Students who wish to use the possibility of late registration and think they qualify to do so can contact their study adviser: studieadviseur-soc@uva.nl
