Below you will find an overview of the dates for course registration. The dates for registering for courses can vary per faculty and sometimes per degree programme.
For some of the UvA degree programmes, course registration for the next semester will take place at a different time and via a different procedure than usual. These programmes will be participating in a pilot with a new application called GLASS. This concerns the following programmes:
- Bachelor’s Law
- Bachelor’s Tax law
- Bachelor’s Psychology
- Bachelor’s Communication Science
- Master’s Communication Science
If you want to take courses in the next semester that are part of one of the above programmes, follow the new procedure.
Registration within GLASS will take place in a different time period than usual: from Thursday, 25 November 10.00 until Tuesday, 30 November 23.59.

Pilot course registration for Law, Tax law, Psychology and Communication Science: Thursday, 25 November 10.00 until Tuesday, 30 November 23.59.
Faculty of Economics and Business: Wednesday, 8 December from 8:00.
Faculty of Humanities: Thursday, 9 December from 8:00.
Amsterdam Law School: Tuesday, 7 December from 8:00.
Faculty of Science: Monday, 6 December from 8:00.
Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences: Friday, 10 December from 8:00.
Faculty of Medicine (AMC): the Faculty of Medicine does not use course registration.
The only exception is in the second year of the Master's programme in Medical Informatics. You can find the dates, and more information, at their programme page.
Course registration closes Tuesday, 21 december at 13:00 for all faculties.
