Living and studying in Amsterdam and at the University of Amsterdam can be different from what you are used to and more difficult than expected. How do you study the ‘Dutch way’? How can you adapt your study methods? How do you manage to live and study in Amsterdam and still keep in touch with family and friends back home?
In this workshop, we will discuss (inter)cultural-educational differences. We will assess various study methods and study skills such as academic reading, concentration, time management, and planning. You will learn how to study more efficiently and effectively within the context of the Dutch educational system.
This workshop is free of charge. Registration is possible from 10 weeks up to 2 days in advance. After registration, you’ll receive specific information about logging in, or the exact location, preparation (if necessary) etc.
We have other training and workshops about studying effectively. You can find them all here: Study skills for international students
