As a UvA student you can install ArcGIS software on your own computer.
When maps are used to make decisions that save money, time or even lives, then you need to put science to work for you. ArcGIS can be used to build maps with up-to-date data, to combine them with deep analysis and to share them.
Specific system requirements are needed to use ArcGIS. Check the website of ArcGIS to see if your computer is suitable.
There is a short manual to help you install ArcGIS on your own computer. The lecturer of the course for which you need ArcGIS will give you an activation code for using ArcGIS.
