The desk staff at one of the study centres can set a new password for you. Be sure to take along your student ID card as proof of identity.
Your UvAnetID password is also your password for Canvas. It is possible to change your password only in the My ID portal.
Personal details in Canvas come from Studielink. You can change your personal details via www.studielink.nl on your personal Studielink-page under ‘My details’. If you do not have a Studielink-account you can contact the Central Student Administration of the UvA through the questions form onwww.uva.nl/questionform with the request to change your personal details.
The course registration period is when you register for courses. Visit uva.nl/vakaanmelden to check whether you are registered for a particular course. Canvas will automatically grant access to the courses for which you have registered. The lecturer must publish the course before it is scheduled to begin, at which point it will become visible to the registered students. If you have not been granted access by the time the course starts, contact your programme's Student Desk.
It is not possible to delete courses in Canvas. You can, however, change the courses that are displayed on your Dashboard. Go to Courses > All courses and click on the star beside the course. Courses with a red star will be displayed on your Dashboard, while those with a white star will not.
The registered final marks for your courses can be found exclusively in SIS. No rights may be derived from the marks or partial marks found in Canvas.
