The polls are open! Between Monday, 31 May and Friday, 4 June, all UvA students can vote for the 2021 student council elections. You will find answers to the most important questions about the elections below:
You can cast your vote online via the official Webelect voting invitation that you received via email on Monday morning. This email was sent to the email address registered with the student administration, usually your @student.uva.nl address. You are eligible to vote for the central student council and the student council of the faculty where you are enrolled. You have until Friday 4 June 23:59 to vote.
A total of 13 parties are participating in the student council elections. Each party has different ideas about what is good for the UvA. In the online magazine about the elections you can find out which parties you can vote for.

Student councils represent your interests and work every day to improve the university. By voting, you decide who sits on the central and faculty student council. Each party has different ideas about what is good for the UvA. If you vote for a party that stands for themes that you find important, you ensure that those themes will be higher on the agenda in the student council.
