Cum laude

You may graduate cum laude or summa cum laude, and receive such a designation on your diploma, if your academic performance has been exceptional.


Students can be deemed to show exceptional competence in an examination if they meet the conditions stated in the Rules and Guidelines of the Examinations board. This document includes all regulations and requirements regarding summa cum laude and cum laude.

Making a request

If you think you are eligible for the cum laude distinction, you should request it on your graduation form.
