As of Monday 15 June, UvA students and staff will be able again to use the study spaces in the Library Learning Centre in REC H. The Library also expands the reservation options for all reopened library locations.

From Monday, the Library will make 100 study places available in the H building on the Roeterseiland Campus. It is mandatory to reserve a study place in advance.

Please note: the entrance is the revolving door on the Roetersstraat, next to Café De Krater.

No study place without a reservation

UvA students and staff who wish to use a study place must make a reservation in advance. This can be done via the reservation system that the Library has specially set up for this. This is one of the measures taken to guarantee the safety of everyone. Book a study place at the following reopened Library locations:

  • UB Singel;
  • Science Park;
  • Roeterseiland Campus (Learning Library Center, REC H).

At various UvA locations, there are currently study places available that cannot be reserved. Until Friday 19 June, UvA students can still study in REC BC for instance. This offering will be phased out.

Expanding reservation options

Based on suggestions and wishes from students, the Library is again expanding the reservation options. From today on it will be possible to make five reservations per person. Discover the options in the reservation system.

Reopening of the Library

The Library is in a phased reopening, which means that the (physical) library services will be expanded in phases. Keep an eye on the Library website for updates.
