Managing stress (6 x 2 hours)

Online training: finding a healthy balance in your studies

For you?

Are you experiencing high levels of stress during studying? Do you find yourself worrying a lot, are you procrastinating and struggling with anxiety? In this training, consisting of 6 meetings, you’ll become more aware of what your triggers of stress are. You will work on slowing down, creating a more healthy motivation, tame your inner critic and cultivate a compassionate mindset. All this will help you study more efficiently, enjoy your studies more and find a healthy balance.

  • Start date 1: Tuesday 15 September 2020, from 09:00-11:00
  • Start date 2: Wednesday 14 October 2020, from 15:00-17:00
  • Start date 3: Monday 19 November 2020, from 09:30-11:30
  • Start date 4: Thursday 7 January 2021, from 15:00-17:00
  • Start date 5: Monday 25 January 2021, from 13:00-15:00
  • Start date 6: Wednesday 10 March 2021, from 13:00-15:00
  • Start date 7: Tuesday 6 April 2021, from 09:00-11:00
  • Start date 8: Wednesday 12 May 2021, from 15:00-17:00

Practical information

  • This training is free of charge and will be offered online.
  • Attending all 6 sessions is required.
  • You can register if you are currently studying at the UvA or the HvA or graduated no more than 1 year ago.
  • Registration is possible from 10 weeks up to 2 days in advance.
  • After registration, you’ll receive specific information about your login and information how to participate.
  • Please note: Demand for this training often exceeds the available spots. We kindly ask you to register once you’re sure that you will attend only.
