Students who have successfully passed the final examination will be awarded the Master of Science degree. The degree awarded will be noted on the certificate. An appendix to the certificate - signed by the Chairperson of the Examination Board and stating the components of the final examination, the study load and the assessment - will be issued.
As a result of the corona measures, the diploma ceremonies for master programs that were planned this academic year have been canceled. We hope that the information about this given in the updates on the website has reached you. The canceled ceremony will not be moved to a later time. We understand that this is a disappointment. In addition to the organizational impossibility of moving the ceremonies to a later date, we also want to do everything we can to ensure that ceremonies can continue in the following academic year.
As soon as the corona measures have been relaxed so that larger meetings are possible again, a meeting will be organized for everyone who has registered for the graduation ceremony that has been canceled. This will not be a graduation ceremony, but an opportunity to raise our glasses to you on the successful completion of your studies and to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
We are working hard to keep the backlog as small as possible but because we are working from home at the moment the production and signing of diplomas is halted. We will do everything we can to make sure your diploma is ready for you as soon as possible. We will inform you about how and where you can collect your degree when it’s ready to be picked up.
If you have a DigiD you can download a certified digital extract from the diploma register on the DUO website www.mijndiplomas.nl
This is official proof that you have obtained your degree. If this is not a possibility for you, you can request graduation statement from us firstname.lastname@example.org
