Undesirable behaviour

Undesirable behavior occurs when a person (or group) crosses your personal boundary. it is behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable and/or unsafe. It is hard to provide a definition of undesirable behaviour as this is always subjective and the boundary is different for each person.

Examples of undesirable behavior are harassment, discrimination, aggression, bullying, violence and stalking. These forms of behaviour are not acceptable and have no place at the UvA.

If you feel that one of your personal boundaries has been crossed and it made you feel unsafe and/or uncomfortable, please reach out to one of the UvA's confidential advisers:

Do you have a complaint?

Do you feel that you have been unfairly disadvantaged by a decision, or been treated poorly by a university employee? There is something you can do about it. Informal and formal procedures exist for this purpose.
