Do you need a study space during the Christmas break? If this is your case, come to study in the University Library. The UB Singel remains open except on 25 & 26 December and 1st January. All other library locations are closed from 25 December to 1st January. This Christmas the Library has two wishing trees: one in the entrance hall of the UB Singel and the other one in the Library Learning Center on Roeterseiland. Students post their messages in the wishing trees. Social media, but then on paper!

The University Library at the Singel remains open, but closes earlier during the Christmas break. Go to our location page and check the opening hours.  All other library locations are closed from 25 December until 1st  January.

Wishing trees
This year the Library has two wishing trees: a new and larger tree in the  entrance hall of the UB Singel and the "old" tree in the Library Learning Center on Roeterseiland. The wishing trees are already fill up with  funny and inspiring wishing cards.

Sustainability
The Library is committed to sustainability. Both wishing trees are made of wood and without paint or chemicals. The idea is to use the same trees every year. If you have not already done it, drop by and share your wish.

All the library staff wish you a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year.
