Studying in the academic year 2022-2023
At the Amsterdam Law School, we find teaching on campus, with physical education and meeting each other, very important. Therefore, we offer all education on campus, without restrictions. This also applies to the introduction and to all examinations. Should the coronavirus flare up again, we will of course follow the guidelines of the Dutch government. In that case, we may have to offer the education and the introduction (partly) online.

Application and enrolment
Exchange students are nominated by their home universities. You are required to submit the online application form before either 15 October (Spring semester) or 1 May (Fall semester), depending on the semester chosen. Exchange students are exempted from paying tuition fee to the University of Amsterdam.
Once you have been admitted to the Exchange Programme in Law we will forward your personal information to the UvA Student Services department. Student Services will help you through the necessary procedures. This starts with the UvA registration process while you are still abroad. During this process, you will be helped with such procedures as your visa/residence permit (if applicable), signing up for the introduction programmes and making sure that we are completely prepared for your arrival in Amsterdam. After completion of your UvA registration, you will be invited for a Start appointment.
