Open office hours

If you have a short and relatively simple question or issue, meet with your study adviser during his or her open office hours. The open office hours are on Mondays from 13.00 – 15.00, and on Thursdays from 13.00 – 15.00.

If your question is of a more complicated nature, make an appointment with your study adviser. She will reserve a 30 minute time slot for your meeting. You can plan your meeting yourself via the online timetable.

The study adviser can help students with a wide range of questions and problems.
You can visit the study adviser for/with:

  • General information on the study programme and questions on arranging research projects/internships
  • Help with choosing a master programme or specialization
  • Doubts about the master programme you have chosen or changing to another master programme
  • Advice on individual situations like: top-class sport, studying with a handicap/chronic illness, combination study/working, personal circumstances, (temporarily) stopping your studies
  • Advice with regards to study planning, for example when you have a study delay
  • Referral to lecturers, committees and departments within or outside the faculty
  • First port of call with complaints about the study programme, lecturers, exam results, etc.

If you are not able to follow your programme due to illness or personal circumstances please inform your study adviser and other people involved (lecturers, supervisor, etc).
