Can I change my my payment method and my bank details myself?
Whether you can change the payment details that you have entered in Studielink will depend upon the status of the processing of the payment.

Go to <My study programmes> and click on the study programme for which you would like to change the payment details.

You will find the <Change payment details> button under <Payment details>.

This will take you to <Change payment details>. This means that you can change your payment details yourself.

Here you can change the payment method, instalments and who will pay, as well as the details about the account holder.
If it is not possible to change the payment details, please submit your request by using the form Change my authorisation used for direct debits.

If I pay in instalments, when are the direct debit dates?

I missed a tuition fee instalment. How can I pay the outstanding amount?
If you miss a tuition fee instalment you will receive an email within 20 days containing an iDEAL link through which you can pay the outstanding amount.
Within 10 days after the direct debit date you can also transfer the outstanding tuition fee instalment to bank account number NL26DEUT0436855232, under the name of University of Amsterdam, in Amsterdam. Be sure to include your last name and student ID number on the transfer. Without this information your payment cannot be processed.
If you don’t take any action we will automatically try to collect your tuition fee instalments in the following month.
Should you be unable to pay the amount, or if you missed more than one instalment you can request a tuition fee payment plan. More information can be found via the link below:

I also want to study at another university. How do I request a Proof of Payment (Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld (BBC)) at the UvA?
You can request a Proof of Payment (Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld (BBC)) from the UvA via this form.
Please note: make sure that all the items of your enrolment checklist on www.sis.uva.nl are completed, before you request your Proof of Payment.
In most cases the UvA Central Student Administration sends the Proof of Payment directly to your other education institution. If this is not the case, you'll be notified after you've requested the Proof of Payment.

I have already paid at another educational institution. How do I submit my Proof of Payment (Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld (BBC)) at the UvA?
If you are also enrolled at an education institution other than the UvA and pay the statutory tuition fee there, you do not have to pay any tuition fees at the UvA.
However, you do need to request a Proof of Payment (Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld (BBC)) at your other educational institution and submit it at the UvA.

You can request an official invoice of your paid tuition fees at the UvA via our Digital Student Service Desk. This is the only option.

The granting of scholarships is not centrally regulated within the UvA. Hence, there is no central telephone number or department to contact with your questions.
