UvA Career Skills Week Event

From Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 March 2023 the annual UvA Career Skills Week will take place again. This event is organised by the UvA Student Careers Centre, and is freely accessible to all UvA students and young alumni. We're going to start with the Career Bootcamps on March 7 at Science Park and March 8 at the Roeterseiland Campus, and we're going to close with the big UvA Career Skills Week Event on March 9 at the Social Hub Amsterdam CityExternal link.

On this final day there will be all kinds of interesting workshops, a LinkedIn photographer, CV checks, and a busy business fair.

Some examples of the workshops include:

• "Skills? Just do it!" by the VP of Walt Disney
• "Effective Communication" by PwC (only in Dutch)
• "Performance Marketing & Media Buying" by Creative Clicks
• "A successful alumni career journey" by Coty (Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and others)

At the job fair, you can meet nearly 40 companies and organizations. The employees of these exhibitors are eager to get to know you. Come talk to them, ask any questions you have about your career, and find out which employers are a good match for you. Many of the companies that will be there, have great job vacancies and internships available for you.
