For you?

Are you struggling with chronic (over three months) conditions? Did you postpone your studies, and are you trying to pick up where you left off? Are you finding it hard to combine academic life with your chronic conditions? This training offers students support for understanding and managing chronic medical conditions (invisible, visible / diagnosed, or undiagnosed). The training will explore the meaning of your symptoms, your perception of self to condition and how to navigate your studies.

Important to know

  • After registration, an individual intake interview will take place to check if this group meets your needs. Only after this intake is your registration completed. Mail to v.kapooria@uva.nlExternal link to make an appointment for the intake interview;
  • We count on you to attend all meetings. This is important for your own process and the group process. If you cannot attend all the meetings, see if another training series or group might be a better fit.
