Watch the livestream of the Dies

On 9 January at 15:00 you can watch the livestream of the Dies Natalis hereExternal link. (Please note that this event is mainly in Dutch.)


The Dies celebration in the Aula will last from 15:00 until 16:45, and the doors will open at 14:15. The rectorship will be transferred to Peter-Paul Verbeek, and in his opening address he will discuss the role of the university in the 21st century. Charles Agyemang, professor of Migration and Health, will then deliver the Dies speech. Christopher Manning (computer scientist, artificial intelligence) and Vikram Patel (psychiatrist, mental well-being) will then be awarded honorary doctorates. The study associations VIA and MFAS will pay tribute to the new honorary doctors. 

After the Dies celebration, you are most welcome to join us at the reception in the hall of the Maagdenhuis. Here, you will have plenty of opportunity to congratulate the rector and honorary doctors.
