The UvA J.Pzn Sweelinck Orchestra was established in 1878 and is the oldest symphony orchestra in Amsterdam. The orchestra is comprised of about 80 enthusiastic students from Amsterdam universities and they rehearse every Thursday from 20:00 to 23:00 at the Singelkerk in the Amsterdam city centre.
