Roeterseiland campus and Science Park Campus both have parking facilities. If you need to park near one of the other locations, you can make use of the generally available parking spaces and car parks nearby.
At Roeterseiland Campus you can get a parking space in REC-E with permission of your faculty. There is a limited number of parking spaces available (30).
Science Park students can use the car park for a fee.
Students may be eligible for a parking space on medical grounds. UvA students who want to apply for a disabled parking space need to contact Student Services via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Disabled persons with a valid parking badge can park for free in the designated parking spaces around the Roeterseiland Campus. Several disabled parking spaces are also available on the Campus. These spaces are designated exclusively for use by students to whom these spaces have been allocated.
A valid disabled parking card is required to qualify for a parking space at the Roeterseiland Campus. Students with a temporary medical indication who do not have a valid disabled parking card may also be granted the temporary use of a disabled parking space if one is available.
There are no dedicated parking spaces at any of the other UvA locations. If you need to park near one of those locations, you can make use of the generally available parking spaces and car parks nearby.
The UvA's parking policy is based on the principle that all buildings should be easily accessible by either bicycle or public transport. Accessibility by car is regarded as supplementary.
