This is a student ambassador:
As a student ambassador, you will be the face of both your study programme and the University of Amsterdam. You will play an active role in various activities and events such as Open Campus Days, Experience Days, and campus tours. Additionally, you will help prospective students in their journey to find the study programme that fits them best.
If you have a passion for social media, it is also possible to create content, such as a Day in the Life video, for our social media channels. Additionally, you’ll share your opinion and occasionally help with other activities like distributing gadgets.
How can you inspire prospective students?
- Share your personal experiences about your study programme and student life in Amsterdam during events, open days and campus tours.
- Answer questions from prospective students via online chat.
- Join student panels and help us gain insights from your perspective.
The ambassadors group consists of 70 motivated students, offering you a chance to expand your network. As a student ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, and be part of a range of exciting events!
Good to know:
- You will only receive hourly compensation for assisting at events. This is why you will need to have a working permit.
- We will especially need your help during the busy months: November-December and March-April.
- Interest in creating social media content is a plus.
- The Open Campus Day takes place on 22 November 2024 and 21 March 2025.
