During the weekend of 17 and 18 December, Learning Space REC A1 will be open from 09:00 to 18:00 and lecture rooms in REC E on the first floor will be available as study areas.
This exam period, Science Park is offering more study spaces, namely 225 study spaces in the brand new LAB42.
To book lecture rooms to study in, see MapiqExternal link, inquire with your study association or at the library desk.
Access policy tightened
A tightened access policy applies during exam periods. Please note that the Library is only accessible with a valid UvA student or employee card. External borrowers can only pick up and return books; use of study spaces is not possible.
Study in the silence of a church
Those looking for a special space to study can visit the Posthoornkerk from Sunday 18 to Thursday 20 December. From 09:00 to 19:00, 75 study spaces are available. There is free coffee, tea and Wi-Fi.
Achieve your optimal focus during the Online Study Space’s hybrid study sessions. The collaborative study sessions, called Study SOS, take place from 11:00 to 22:00 under the guidance of a student host. This time, the sessions are both physical in the University Library Singel and online.
To prepare you, you will receive a wake-up e-mail half an hour before each study session. At the beginning of each study session, concrete and realistic goals are set on which to evaluate each time. The host provides a distraction-free environment in which you can work specifically on your goals.
