Application and admission

Important information about your application

We are aware of the difficulties that might occur in your application process due to the coronavirus. The situation is closely monitored, we will take action when needed, following the guidelines of the Dutch government. We do our utmost best to limit the impact this situation has on your application process and are constantly working on finding solutions for applicants that face any sort of difficulties.

For now, we have made changes and improvements to our application procedure for the September 2020 intake. You can find them on this page. Hopefully, this will resolve some of the most pressing issues you might face at the moment.

Please know that this page is under construction. We will post the latest updates here as needed.

  • Applicants who need a study visa/residence permit (non-EU/EEA)

    Required tests

Because of the closure of many test centers around the world we will give you some extra time to submit the required test scores.

    GMAT and GRE test

All new applicants are exempt from the GMAT or GRE requirement. However, if you already have a complete GMAT or GRE result, you can still choose to upload it and we will assess it. If you do not have it, the Admissions Office will assess your Grade Point Average instead. Please upload your grade transcript in the application form and make sure your GPA is included in the transcript. Additionally, it would be useful for the admission officers to know your class rank/percentile, so please add this to your application if you have this information available.

    English test

We have extended the deadline to upload your English test score in your application. We advise you to take the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test (not available in mainland China and Iran).

    Adjusted deadlines:

You need to complete your online application (including test scores) before: 18 May 2020

If you have registered in studielink and submitted your (incomplete) online application in Embark before 1 April you have until 18 May to complete your submitted application file by uploading missing documents such as the sufficient English test results.

You might face difficulties in getting an official document from your home university at the moment. Because of the situation, we now accept digital documents if directly send to us by (a contact from) your home university. We are currently working on a procedure for facilitating this process.
