Approval Study Components for Graduation

Procedure request for approval of study components for graduation

  • Students who started with the second year of a Bachelor's or with a Master’s programme before 1 September 2011 at UvA Economics and Business must have a study programme that is approved by the Board of Examiners before the request for a degree certificate can be submitted.
  • At least three months before applying for your degree certificate you have to request the Board of Examiners to approve your entire Bachelor’s or Master’s programme by using the Digital request form approval of study components for graduation.
  • You can also use the form to submit changes to an earlier approved or rejected study programme.

Transition arrangements Bachelor's and Master's programmes

Every academic year the curricula of the degree programmes may change. Students who started the Master's or Bachelor's programme at an earlier stage need – in most cases - to have their study programme adjusted following various transition arrangements. The transition arrangements are described in the Teaching and Examination Regulations of the academic year in question. You can find Teaching and Examination Regulations of earlier years in the archive
