See an overview of requests you can submit to the UvA Economics and Business Board of Examiners in the menu. Please note that sometimes you have to read the clarification before you submit a petition request.

What is a request?

When you submit a request to the Board of Examiners, you ask the Board to render a decision about a personal issue in a field in which the Board is the competent authority. In general this means that your issue has to do with the UvA Economics and Business Teaching and Examination Regulations.

How to submit your request

Formal petition requests must be sent to the UvA Economics and Business Examinations Board via a digital form. The different requests can be found in the menu in the top left corner of this page. It includes direct links to the general request form and the request form for the validity of study results. In case you need to add original documents which support your request you have to hand these in in person at the desk of the UvA Economics and Business Education Desk.
Please note that requests that are submitted by email will not be processed.

Processing period

Please bear in mind that some requests need a processing time of maximum six weeks. Please note that we are unable to reply to any individual inquiries regarding the status of a request or whether a request can be processed urgently.

How does the Board of Examiners communicate?

The Board of Examiners only communicates decisions by email. Please note that after submitting a request, it is your responsibility to check your inbox (and spam|junk email box) on a regular basis during the processing period.
