This workshop is also offered in Dutch: Ontdek wat je wil in werk.
Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. They (should) determine your priorities. Being aware of your values will help you to consider what job you want to pursue. And they can serve as a guide when you have to make (difficult) career decisions.
During your studies you acquire a range of skills, in your study programme as well as outside the programme itself. These skills are used in new situations, the so-called transferable skills. Understanding what (transferable) skills you have gained so far and which skills you would like to develop in the upcoming years, will also help you to articulate your next step.
In this workshop you will gain insights into your values and skills, which will give you a head start in finding a job. It will be a safe and comfortable space for exploring, reflecting and sharing.
This personal career guide helps you to focus in your job searching process. Obviously, it also helps you present yourself in a more convincing and self-aware manner during networking coffees and interviews.
