Submitting a petition in SIS - CS

Petition in SIS

A petition in SIS is a request to the Examinations Board of Communication Science to include, change, or exempt certain components in the student’s academic plan. For example, a petition is submitted to request permission to add a course of a different study programme to a student’s elective programme within the bachelor’s programme Communication Science.

Approval of the Examinations Board Communication Science for a course or minor does not mean a student is admitted to the course or registered for it. To attend the course or minor, a student needs to follow the registration procedure of the study programme that offers the course or minor. Also keep in mind that courses can have entry requirements that need to be met.

You will receive a decision on your petition within 6 weeks at the most, starting from the date that you submit the petition and all the necessary documents.
