Students can turn to the Examinations Board in the following situations:
Petitions to the Examinations Board should be submitted online using the form below. The Examinations Board may require extra documents, such as official copies of certificates or certified copies of lists of marks, depending on the nature of the petition. These extra documents can be sent online or handed in at the Student Desk.
N.B: petitions will not be processed until you have submitted all the extra documents.
The UvA has decided that students who are absent at the first exam or at the resit because of covid-19-related health symptoms or a covid-19 infection will be offered an additional resit. This will entitle all students to two opportunities to do an exam. To make use of this extra opportunity you will have to fill in the Qualtrics form below. You don’t have to email us as well, only filling in this form is enough. If you have already sent study advice an email, you don’t have to fill in this form. These cases are already noted in our administration.
In case you didn’t pass the resit, you can get another resit possibility. We will share further instructions on how to apply for this later.
Students in the Erasmus Mundus Master's Journalism, Media and Globalisation can send their petition directly to: email@example.com
You will receive a decision on your petition within 6 weeks at the most, starting from the date that you submit the petition and all the necessary documents. This may take longer during academic recess periods.
