Citation tools
Citing other research and making a bibliography is quite simple once you have created your own literature database in Zotero.
You can also do this in RefWorks and Mendeley. See the overview of pros and cons (PDF) for each of these tools.
Contents of this workshop
This Zotero course is hands-on and intended for students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Amsterdam. You will learn to
- create and manage your own literature database,
- store references in your own Zotero account,
- consistently refer to literature, using your Zotero database.
Participants are expected to have a basic knowledge of how to use the UvA databases. If you are new to this, please sign up for a workshop Finding academic sources first.
