Welcome to the joint-degree master's programme Chemistry. To help you get started, this page provides some useful information on course registration and various other tasks as well as upcomming events at the start of the academic year.
Course registration (enrolment) for most courses of the chemistry master's programme is performed via the UvA. Please make sure to enroll for all courses of the first semester as soon as possible. Unfortunately due to corona measures, the introduction day this year will not take place on-site, but rather fully online. However, we are glad to announce that we have several activities in stock which will take place in the first few weeks of the year to make sure you meet your fellow students outside the (digital) classroom! These activities will be announced via canvas.

For those who really want to catch a glimpse of the on-site location, please have a look at the UvA online tour and the VU campus tour
The faculty will organize a meeting for all international students of the Faculty of Science on Thursday 1 October at 17.30.
Due to the present situation, the meeting will be online. You will get acquainted with the Dutch academic environment, receive information about social activities and meet the with your fellow international students. There will be a fun activity at the end of the meeting.
In September you will receive an invitation with more details for this event by e-mail.
Please make sure to finish your admission to the master's programme as soon as possible. This includes showing proof of finishing your bachelor's degree and paying your tuition. If you encounter any problems, please contact the FNWI Eduction desk. They will be able to either help you directly, or tell you who to contact.
