Examination arrangements

for students with disability

When are you eligible for a special arrangement?

Depending on your disability, you may be eligible for a special examination arrangement. This arrangement is necessary to sit the examination, but must not conflict with the learning outcomes for the degree programme. Contact a student counsellor to discuss the options available to you.

  • How do you make use of your extra time for exams?
    • In the case of extra time for exams: this will be automatically added to your Datanose profile for the exams and retakes for the courses of the Faculty of Science for which you are enrolled.
    • If you wish to make use of extra time for exams, the following applies:
      • Exams no longer than 2 hours:  15 minutes extra time;
      • Exams of 2 hours or more: 30 minutes extra time.
    • You will take the exam at the same location as the the other students, unless otherwise listed in your personal schedule in Datanose.
    • The above mentioned is valid for exams for courses at the Faculty of Science. If you are taking courses at other faculties as well, you need to inform there about the possibilities and how to make use of this arrangement there.
