Training: How to study with AD(H)D ?

For you?

People with AD(H)D usually have problems with planning, organisation, concentration, and procrastination. In this training, you strengthen skills focused on what you are currently encountering in your studies. The aim of the training is to gain insight into and get a grip on your study behaviour and to share experiences with your fellow students with AD(H)D.

Dates and times 2021-2022 (1st semester)

November-January: Tuesday 30 November, 7, 14, December 2021, 11, 18 and 25 January 2022 from 09:00-11:00 (online)

Requirements for enrolment

An AD(H)D diagnosis by a mental healthcare institution, private psychologist or psychiatrist is required.

Good to know

  • The training consists of 6 group meetings and is supervised by a student psychologist and a student counsellor
  • We count on you to attend all sessions. This is important for the training efficacy, both for yourself and for the other students who participate.

Practical information

  • Costs: This training is free of charge.
  • Location: Roeterseilandcampus - after registration, you’ll receive specific information about the exact location
  • Language: This training is offered in English.
  • Registration: You can register if you are currently studying at the UvA or the HvA or graduated no more than 1 year ago. Registration is possible 10 weeks up to 2 days in advance. Please note: Demand for this training often exceeds the available spots. We kindly ask you to register once you’re sure that you will attend only.
