Session: Guided meditation

For you?

Every Thursday morning we offer the opportunity to join a meditation group session, guided in English by one of the student psychologists. We will practice various meditation techniques that you can also apply afterwards. You learn to focus on the present moment as a way to cope with stress. Having some experience with meditation is not required, but is recommended (also see our 6-week meditation training courses).

Every Thursday from 9:30-10:00

Good to know

You can register per session. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like, but we do ask you to register for each session.

Practical information

  • Costs: This training is free of charge.
  • Location: Roeterseilandcampus - after registration, you’ll receive specific information about the exact location
  • Language: This training is offered in English
  • Registration: You can register if you are currently studying at the UvA or the HvA or graduated no more than 1 year ago. Registration is possible 10 weeks up to 2 days in advance. Please note: Demand for this training often exceeds the available spots. We kindly ask you to register once you’re sure that you will attend only.
