To solve such complex business issues, you need specialist knowledge and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines. We train you to study current research literature and subsequently apply that know-how to problems that companies face today.
This Master’s offers you the possibility to focus on the international aspects of business and management. And prepare for your career by solving real-world case studies presented by our corporate partners, such as ING, L’Oréal, Vodafone, Ahold Delhaize, VandeBron and Google.

Inspiring kick-off in Royal Theatre Carré
You will kick off your studies with 'UvA in Carré', a series of inspirational seminars featuring prominent speakers from leading companies such as ING, L’Oréal, Vodafone, Ahold Delhaize, VandeBron and Google. They will present their visions on current business issues and share their insights and experiences.
Choose your electives from our Business Lab
In our Business Lab you can choose from a wide selection of electives we call business labs. Each one is connected to a corporate partner. You will be challenged to solve real-life business issues, working in international teams and presenting your solution to the company.
The Master’s thesis is the final requirement for your graduation. It is your chance to dive deep into a topic that you are enthusiastic about. A professor in your field of choice (track) will supervise and support you in writing your thesis.
Upon graduation, you will be awarded the title Master of Science (MSc).

Make sure to prepare and plan these tests before the application deadline; test dates fill quickly and it can take several weeks before you receive your results:
- An English language proficiency test with a sufficient score
- A GMAT test with a sufficient score
- Students with a Dutch degree from another faculty or University
Current Bachelor’s and pre-Master's students at Economics and Business/Transition minor students (doorstroomminor) from the HvA, HR or Hogeschool Den Haag
