Do you ever wonder; "How does data science look like in daily practice within a corporate?" Association CIO Platform Nederland will organize a Data Science Meet & Greet Network event on Wednesday April 25th in collaboration with 15 leading Dutch corporates.
During this event you will receive answers to the following questions; How is data science applied in daily practice? How does an average working day of a data scientist look like? An impression of the culture & atmosphere within the organisation and the work environment and what is the reason to come to work within one of the organisations?
15 large organizations will present an original and creative pitch in up to 10 minutes on how they deploy data science in daily practice. The impressive line-up of this Meet & Greet network event: Heineken, Alliander, Royal IHC, LUMC, De Nederlandsche Bank, Akzo Nobel, Heijmans, Transavia, CZ, Radboudumc, Rijksoverheid, Shell, Sligro, Thales Group and Wehkamp.
At 9.00 am the doors open and at 9.30 o'clock we’ll kick off with a word of welcome from the CIO Platform Nederland, followed by an introduction of the guest location. Next, the 15 members of CIO Platform Nederland will take care of a pitch for 10 minutes each in two rounds. All creativity will be used to give you a good idea about data science in daily practice.
Immediately after the pitches you will be given the unique opportunity to get acquainted with the organisations during the (free) network lunch. We round off the event around 14.15h. Language during the event is in English.
