The Central Student Service Desk (part of Student Services) is the first point of contact for general questions about studying at the UvA. You can go there with questions about your choice of study programme, enrolment, student grants and loans, living, accommodation, studying abroad and much more.
You can find a lot of answers online.
If your question is not answered in the FAQ, please ask your question through the Digital Student Service Desk.
Please note: Due to measures related to the coronavirus, it is only possible to visit the Central Student Service Desk by appointment. You can request an appointment via phone or Whatsapp to arrange the following matters:
to make and hand in certified copies of original documents (diploma’s/ gradelists) for bachelor programmes
to hand in hard copy files for Global Exchange programmes (make an appointment via Canvas)
The UvA is closed on national holidays and during Christmas week/New Year's Eve. For an overview, follow the link below.
Due to the General Data Protection Regulations we are not allowed to inform any third parties, like parents or guardians, if the student is 18 years or older.
