In addition to the UvA wireless network, the Eduroam network is also available at the UvA. Eduroam is a wireless internet service provided collaboratively by an international group of higher education institutions.
This enables students from other higher education institutions affiliated with Eduroam to use the wireless network at the UvA, and UvA students to use wireless internet at many other higher education institutions.
To use Eduroam, you need to install software (see the instructions in the ‘How do I connect to UvA wireless?’ section) You can log into the Eduroam network with your UvA-net ID, both here and at the other institutions.
Mac users need to add @uva.nl after their UvA-net ID.
Check https://www.eduroam.nl/en/ or download the eduroam app to see all the hotspots where you can connect to eduroam.
