  • Student CouncilEvery year in May Student Council elections are held at the UvA. As a UvA student, you get to choose the council members with your vote. Student Councils represent the interests of UvA students. They contribute to the debate on key issues such as educational quality, digitalisation, student well-being and mental health, student housing, social safety, diversity and inclusion and sustainability.
  • Programme CommitteeThe Programme Committee (PC) is a representative advisory body in which students and teaching staff discuss the quality and content of education.
  • ASVA Student Union The ASVA Student Union represents the interests of all students in Amsterdam and can help you with matters such as finding a bicycle or housing.
  • Student assessorEach year the Executive Board appoints a student assessor. The student assessor bridges the gap between students and the Board of the UvA.
