In an emergency situation, call the UvA emergency number: +31 (0)20 525 2222  

The central emergency number of the Central Control Room, +31 (0)20 525 2222, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When should you call the Control Room? In an emergency, for example: a fire or a burning smell, a gas smell, a (serious) injury requiring first aid, in case of aggression or threatening behaviour, or a big leak that could cause a short-circuit and power failure. 

Porter 

Many UvA buildings have a porter who will relay the report directly to the Central Control Room and alert the Company Emergency Response team. Central Control Room’s Facility Services

The Central Control Room is where emergencies and incidents are reported. You can call them when you notice fire or a burning smell, a gas smell, a (serious) injury requiring first aid, in case of aggression or threatening behaviour, or a big leak that could cause a short-circuit and power failure.
