The Student Service Desk is the first point of contact for general questions about studying at the UvA. You can go there with questions about your choice of study programme, enrolment, student grants and loans, living accommodations, studying abroad and much more.

  • The Student Service Desk is located at the Roeterseiland Campus, in the central hall on the ground floor of Building E, Roetersstraat 11, 1018 WB Amsterdam.

National holidays

  • Please note: during national holidays, the UvA and as such the Student Service Desk as well, is closed. Follow the link below to read which days. 

King's Day and Friday, 28 April

The Student Service Desk is closed on Thursday, 27 April (King's Day) and Friday, 28 April. From Monday, 1 May, regular opening hours apply.

Student Service Desk

Students Economics, Social Sciences and Law 

For students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, and the Faculty of Law, the Student Service Desk is also the first point of contact for general questions about study programmes, such as course and exam registration and teaching timetables.

Questions about admission

Please consult the individual programme descriptions for the contact details of the programme to which you are applying (Graduate school or Admissions Office). If you have questions about application, admission or programme content that are not answered on the programme website, feel free to contact the Admissions Office directly. You can find Programme contacts in the menu on the left on the individual programme page.
