Stress reduction: Mindfulness

Do you have a hard time ‘living in the moment’? This training will help you to stay in the present. It is especially designed for international students and will be held in English.

Thoughts and feelings

Mindfulness techniques can be very helpful in reducing stress and negative thinking. The techniques also help you to focus on the present moment. By learning an accepting and empathic way of looking at your thoughts and feelings, you will be able to stay in the present. You will learn to appreciate what is here and now, and eventually you will feel more enjoyment in the things you do.

Adjusting

In eight sessions, you will learn the various mindfulness techniques. We will ask you to practice the techniques on a daily basis. The training will be given in English and is especially suitable for international students who have difficulty in adjusting.
