Binding study advice (BSA)
What does binding study advice mean?
In the first year of study of your Bachelor’s programme at UvA Economics and Business, you can obtain 60 credits. At the end of the first year, you'll receive a binding study advice (BSA).
For the Bachelor's programme Economics and Business this means that you must obtain at least 42 credits in first-year courses by the end of the first year of study, including the course Mathematics. Any exemptions granted do not count towards meeting the BSA requirement.
