Announcing TECH020: 22 February 2018 - Amsterdam Arena

After 2 successful editions, TECH020 is coming back! On February 22, all Amsterdam newest tech-talents and international tech companies will meet at TECH020 to learn and grow.

The festival celebrates the talent of young tech professionals and wishes to profile them to the working field. A day full of keynote speakers, a playground with the latest tech gadgets and presentations by leading tech companies about AR, AI, Data Science and more…..

Some (but not just some) keynote speakers are::

JIM STOLZE, Aigency

Jim Stolze is a tech-entrepreneur and a prominent figure in the European startup scene. After studying at VU Amsterdam, Stolze earned his MBA from the Lemniscaat Business School. The master's thesis in which he researched the relationship between Internet usage and well-being caught international attention and was featured on CNN.

Since 2017 he focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI). With his platform Aigency Jim Stolze connect algorithms from PHD’s and startups to data-sets and challenges from big corporates. This initiative was labeled by the media as “the world’s first employment agency for artificial intelligence”.

JAYA BALOO, KPN

Jaya Baloo the CISO of KPN Telecom in the Netherlands. She is recognized in 2017 as one of the top 100 CISO's globally. Jaya works with an amazing information security team of highly driven specialists.  Working in the information security arena for the past 18 years, she has worked mostly for global telecommunications companies such as Verizon and France Telecom. Jaya is also a frequent speaker at security conferences on subjects around lawful interception, mass surveillance, and cryptography.

SANDJAJ BHULAI, VU Amsterdam

Sandjai Bhulai is full professor of Business Analytics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He studied "Mathematics" and "Business Mathematics and Informatics", and obtained a PhD on Markov decision processes for the control of complex, high-dimensional systems. He is co-founder of the Amsterdam Center for Business Analytics (ACBA), co-founder of the postgraduate programme Business Analytics / Data Science, and also co-founder of Prompt Business Analytics.
