EPITA is invested in issues of sustainable development and environment, and wishes to educate future engineers on the questions of green technologies. This is with this objective that we participate to the Green Code Lab Challenge, a project bringing together students and professionals, working in teams during 48h on a shared goal: the optimization of energy consumption for an open-source Web Technology Application. It will be a highly interactive event, with participants from all over the world.
This project is accredited by COP21, the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21/CMP11), that will take place in Paris from November 30th to December 11th. COP21 will be a crucial conference, as it needs to achieve a new international agreement on the climate, applicable to all countries, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2 degrees C.
The Green Code Lab Challenge will take place on December 2 to 4. If you want your campus to be involved in this challenge, contact firstname.lastname@example.org .
